Feng Shui Living is proud of its reputation for providing clients with a top quality, caring professional service including free personal follow up support after every consultation.Feng Shui Consultations usually begin with a telephone conversation with Sylvia or Jonathon about the services that we offer, what you would like to achieve from a consultation, agreeing the fee and arranging a date to visit your property. Since each consultation is uniquely tailored to individual requirements, Sylvia requests a simple floor plan plus some basic information about your property and the dates of birth of everyone living in your home, or your key personnel in the case of a business, to enable her to carry out relevant calculations prior to visiting you.

What Happens at a Consultation

First of all we would usually spend some time talking through your reasons for having the consultation. An accurate compass reading is then taken to determine the orientation of the property, from which certain recommendations are based. The next step is to look at the exterior surroundings, analyse how they are affecting you and implement remedies where necessary. We then go round every room together looking at the location, layout, position of key furniture, colours, lighting and other general features. You may also like to have Feng Shui advice regarding choice of colours and decor. Finally enhancements are recommended to balance and harmonise Ch'i energy patterns, strengthening weak sectors of the premises and positively activating areas of your life in which you are experiencing difficulties.

The aim of the recommendations, made in accordance with pure Feng Shui principles, is to enhance the atmosphere of your property, creating feelings of well being and bringing positive opportunities into your life. Adjustments have a powerful impact and are usually easily achievable, often involving the specific placement of water or plants, introducing certain elements or rearranging furniture layout. With your environment supporting you rather than holding you back, dynamic changes can sometimes happen within days of making the first adjustments. For most clients changes occur gradually for up to three months.

Home Consultations

The length of a consultation depends on the size of your property and your requirements. Three hours is the average minimum time spent at a small flat or house. The agreed cost is then confirmed in writing before our visit. Fees are quoted fully inclusive of preparation work, travelling, your site consultation, a written report and follow up conversations. A detailed written report is always provided after each consultation, also follow up contact and support is freely available to ensure that you get the best possible results.

Corporate Consultancy

As corporate requirements differ widely, from the design stage, planning structures and internal layouts to seeking successful solutions for staff problems, productivity and profit enhancement, Sylvia likes to have an initial discussion about each key aspect of the consultation to maximise the effectiveness of our corporate service.

Pure Feng Shui principles are combined with our own commercial background experience and knowledge gained from working with a wide variety of clients, ranging from small businesses to large corporations. Our clients include Hotels, Restaurants, Banking Headquarters, Art galleries, International Trading and IT companies, City dealing rooms, Publishers, Showrooms, Offices, Factories, Executive suites, Recruitment agencies, Healthcare practitioners and the NHS.

Accordingly fee structures are tailored by agreement to suit the brief of each client, either as an inclusive fee or calculated on an hourly basis for ongoing work. Internet Consultations

If you live some distance away or outside the UK and would prefer to have a feng shui survey carried out from a floor plan, then we can provide this service. We simply need the plan, together with some specific details about your furnishings, colour schemes and exterior surroundings, information about the property itself, dates of birth and your main reasons for wanting the consultation. If you are able to send a video or photographs of your place, that enables us to work with greatest effectiveness.

We will then send you a fully detailed written report plus charts and as always our helpful follow up service is available afterwards. *Payment can be made easily by using our credit card facility as we accept all major credit and debit cards.

Overseas Consultations

We have clients in many countries outside the UK. Usually residential working trips will be more economical from the client's point of view if there are a small group of people wishing to have consultations at the same time. When we are asked to carry out a consultation for an overseas corporate client, this often requires more than a day to complete the work. Whatever your circumstances however, we are always glad to arrange a visit based on your individual needs.

Planning, Design and Architectural Services

If you are redecorating, making alterations or additions to your property, or employing your own architects and designers, Jonathon as well as Sylvia will be happy to assist at any stage in accordance with Feng Shui concepts.
